Howard Stampede

Howard Stampede is run by a dedicated group of parent volunteers who help coach, manage, and support our teams.

Diane Caporaletti
Executive Director

Diane began with Stampede as a volunteer parent coach and became the executive director of the organization in 2020. A lifelong resident of Howard County and University of Maryland alum, she has coached at the JV and Varsity levels in Howard County and taught Physical Education for ten years in HCPSS. She is currently the manager of the Jim Rouse Theatre for the Performing Arts at Wilde Lake High School.

Jean Parker
Founder and Treasurer

Jean founded Howard Stampede in 2002 to provide players interested in the game of field hockey a place to learn and grow. She served as the organization’s executive director until 2019. Although she has stepped away from leading the organization day-to-day, she remains on the staff and the board to ensure that the program continues to thrive.
