Rec Field Hockey in Howard County, MD.

 

Formed in 2002 by Jean Parker, Howard Stampede is the oldest recreational youth field hockey program in Howard County, Maryland. Since then, Howard Stampede has been the starting point for many of the county’s successful field hockey players, including Stampede Alums who became All-County, All-State, and All-American field hockey athletes in high school. Stampede Alums have also gone on to become Junior Olympics athletes, National Team Junior Squad players, successful Division I, II, and III college athletes, and even a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team.
